A Saline, Michigan-based company looking for an outgoing and conscientious employee for employment in the Alamance, NC area.
This is a full-time, salary position.
Hours will vary, but will mostly be during 1st shift.
The employee will be based out of a manufacturing facility for which the employer has service based contracts managing cutting tools.
Some of the responsibilities of the position are as follows:
Develop and maintain manual and computer based tracking systems and reports Ensure customer goal/objectives are being met Work with vendors on tooling issues and improvements Communicate effectively with external and internal customers Manage/Support the internal on-site team Work with engineering and management team to effectively manage expedite requests based on current plant shortages and daily issues Review inventory for nonmoving and overstock items and take appropriate action Manage stock out items/reports to keep customer machines running Support production with their use of high precision cutting tools such as drills, reamers, taps, etc.
Prospective applicants must possess:
Education/Knowledge:
o Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent work experience
Experience:
o Preferred experience w/ cutting tools, CNC machining, engineering, project management o Good verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs, with an emphasis on Excel Job Type:
