Responsibilities:
- Provide primary care services to patients of all ages - Perform comprehensive physical examinations and health assessments.
- Diagnose and treat acute and chronic illnesses.
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests, such as laboratory work and imaging studies.
- Prescribe medications and other treatments.
- DOT Physicals plans.
- Educate patients and their families on disease prevention, health promotion, and management of chronic conditions.
- Conduct patient follow-up visits to monitor progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
- Utilize electronic medical record systems to document patient encounters accurately.
Experience:
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a Family Nurse Practitioner, preferably in a primary care setting if possible.
Urgent Care experience a plus.
