Inventory Control Manager Job Purpose The primary responsibility is to help maintain the accuracy of the inventory, while the full list of responsibilities and requirements are below.
The right candidate will be an organized individual with a good eye for detail and can multitask.
Candidate will work with Shipping Supervisors and Leads to handle anything that arises that has to do with inventory in the building.
Any candidate applying should be willing to be cross-trained throughout our Distribution Center.
We are seeking a dynamic, hard-working professional with a strong focus on customer service and a desire to work for a fast-paced, entrepreneurial organization.
In addition to exceptional leadership and analytical skills, you must have a roll-up your sleeves attitude.
Major Accountabilities/ Essential Duties
Responsibilities:
Learn and master SAP transactions related to scrapping, backordering, not-in-stock, restocking and other inventory processes Be able to understand the impact of those SAP transactions on inventory levels Be able to effectively work with other team members Research and process orders that have not shipped on time Handling ASTROs that arise during their shift in a timely manner Candidate will act as a liaison at times for on-going communication between all departments especially Merchandising, Receiving, Returns and Shipping Perform quality control inspections and wash-testing on incoming heat applied materials.
Capture images of heat applied materials for use in our automated production line.
Minimum Requirements:
Must be able to bend, stoop and kneel.
Must be comfortable and effective communicating both verbally and via email Must have high attention to detail and a very high focus on quality and accuracy.
Must be able to distinguish between colors and count accurately Must be able to lift, push, pull and carry up to 30 lbs.
Experience with computers required Must have a proven track record of punctuality with minimal absenteeism.
Proven ability to work efficiently with minimal supervision.
Must be proficient in English in order to be considered for this position.
