Job Dimensions:
The Product Support Engineer must be able to lead and manage projects within specified financial budgets and timelines with an ongoing emphasis on reducing product costs and increasing customer added value.
The Product Support Engineer is responsible for effectively interacting with Manufacturing, Systems Engineering, R&D, Quality Assurance and Sales/Marketing groups.
The position requires creativity and responsiveness with hands-on experience in mechanics, machining techniques, computer skills, robotics, and drafting.
The qualified individual should provide instructive guidance to other personnel concerning machining and drafting techniques.
Education and Experience Required:
Bachelor degree in Mechanical Engineering with a minimum of 5 years relevant work experience or Associates Degree in Mechanical Engineering with a minimum of 7 years relevant work experience
Position requires a minimum of five (5) years in R&D or product support of medical device equipment
Must have demonstrated experience with handling complex projects
Experience in an FDA regulated environment
3 years experience in 3D CAD software such as Autocad, ProE, or SolidWorks
Project Management skills with proven ability to multi-task and support several projects simultaneously
Excellent technical writing skills with the ability to summarize data into reports and presentations
Thorough knowledge of engineering practices and procedures, machine shop practices, mechanisms and materials.
Basic knowledge of electronics, automation, fluid mechanics and small tolerance injection molding.
Strong organizational, technical, mechanical, and communication skills
Demonstrated ability to work within a team environment and possess excellent attention to detail
Previous work experience diagnosing/troubleshooting process problems that are chemical, mechanical, and electrical in nature
Strong interpersonal skills to develop and maintain constructive relationships with associates from various disciplines at all levels in the organization Education and
Experience Preferred:
2-3 years experience in a manufacturing environment
Previous experience in FDA regulated manufacturing
Certification in Project Management and/or project management experience
Past history as a project lead
Exposure and involvement in Six Sigma and/or Lean Sigma projects and initiatives Working knowledge of computer operating systems and PLCs
Microscopy and image analysis experience

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
