Technical Sales/Application Engineer

Tasks and Responsibilities
Understand and interpret customer technical requirements and recommend product solutions to customer needs using AKG Heat Transfer software as well as Supplier Heat Transfer software.
Makes sale calls with AKG Thermal Systems Fluid Power Distributors as well as provides training on AKG Thermal Systems products to our customers. Provide account management responsibility for these distributors/customers.
Maintain a high degree of product and application knowledge.
Work closely with AKG Thermal Systems Engineering and Design personnel.
Ability to address customers requests in a timely manner.
Interchange competitor products with AKG Thermal Systems products.
Job Qualifications and Requirement
The ideal candidate would have a Bachelors degree, in either a technical or business discipline along with 2 to 5 years of industry related experience. A Mechanical Engineering degree is preferred.
Previous sales experience with a fluid power or hydraulics distributor/company is a plus. Knowledge of fluid power, heat transfer and hydraulics is strongly preferred.
Energetic, fast learner, with willingness to tackle a wide range of responsibilities.
Must be well organized and able to function efficiently in multi-tasking situations.
Strong interpersonal, analytical and communication skills.
Ability to work independently.
Ability to understand and use internal business and engineering computer applications.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
